The evaluation setup with the TrustCAM prototype and a laptop acting as control station. For the TrustCAM prototype hard- (gray boxes) and software (white boxes) components are shown. The TPM is attached via the I2C bus. A microcontroller used for trusted boot is connected to UART 3. The image sensor and WiFi radio are connected via USB. For low-power wireless networking, an XBee radio is used. The software layers consist of a custom Linux kernel, standard system libraries, a modified TrouSerS TSS, and the TrustCAM software framework. On top of that, two running applications are shown: the trusted lifebeat and secure video streaming. To ensure prioritization, all access to the TPM is done via the TPM Manager.
