Potential of D2D with adaptive SINR targets. Average sum power and infeasibility probability are shown in Scenario 3 (7-cell system) using adaptive SINR targets. When the SINR targets are properly set, D2D communications has the potential to drastically reduce the average sum power as well as the probability of infeasibility over a wide range of D2D distances and cellular UE positions.
