Comparison of a life cycle between APTEEN and ADCAPTEEN. The comparison of a life cycle under APTEEN and ADCAPTEEN routing protocol is shown in this figure. This figure shows that about after 450 s, APTEEN begin node dies. In about 3600 s, most nodes run out of energy, with only a few nodes surviving. ADCAPTEEN begin node dies in about 500 s, and about after 3600 s, ADCAPTEEN have many nodes alive. Compared with APTEEN, ADCAPTEEN routing protocol delays the time of node death, increases the node survival rate, and extends the network survival time
