Figure 9 shows the running time of single query on Neo4j, MySQL, and MongoDB respectively, with query depth varying from 1 to 5. From Fig. 9, we can see that for MySQL with query depth 1 to 3, the time spent basically remained the same. But when the query depth increases to 4, the time spent significantly increased, which is an order of magnitude higher than that of MongoDB and Neo4j. MongoDB takes more time than Noe4j when query depth increases from 2 to 5.
