RT-based adaptive prediction method. The m component sequences are extracted from a VM request sequence using the principal component analysis method. Next, these component sequences are detected to find and preprocess the outliers. Then, the RT values of these preprocessed sequences are calculated. Finally, these sequences are predicted by adaptively selecting the EEMD-ARIMA or EEMD-RT-ARIMA method according to the comparison between their RT values and the thresholds
