Slot-asynchronous random access schemes performance. Slot-asynchronous random access schemes adopting time diversity, i.e. copies of the same physical layer packet are transmitted with random delays, and interference cancellation. It is shown that a dedicated low-density parity check (LDPC) code design outperforms standardized 5G error correcting codes.
