Rain gauge sensor. Per tip is 0.053 inches or 1.346 mm of rain. Furthermore, this rain gauge has a magnetic sensor, which works when the magnet attached to the tipping bucket moves a magnetic switch as a tipping bucket, thereby affecting each tip's momentary switch closure
